The students of the Escola Palau and the Institut Marinada, propose the name of the future municipal library: Biblioteca l'Aglà

Why?

Palau School

The second B students have proposed that it be called l'Aglà library because it will be built next to the Alzina de Palau. The fruit of the Alzina is an Aglà and the symbol of Palau-solità i Plegamans is also an Aglà.

It is a good name for the municipal library because acorns grow in Alzina and this is the symbol of Palau-solità i Plegamans.

Books are a product of trees just like acorns.
